Poreč is best explored on foot.
The old town sits on a narrow peninsula. A Roman street grid, Venetian facades, boats along the Riva and the Euphrasian Basilica with its golden mosaics.
From the villa it’s about a 15 to 20-minute walk into the old town. Rather head straight for the water? The nearest beach is to the north, about 10 minutes on foot.
What you’ll find in Poreč
Euphrasian Basilica
A 6th-century episcopal complex and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. The mosaics in the apse glow with gold.
Decumanus
The old town’s main Roman street. Today it’s lined with small shops, konobas (traditional taverns) and ice-cream parlours.
Venetian facades
Green shutters, pointed-arch windows, pale stone. Centuries of Venetian rule have left their mark on every corner.
Coast to the north
Rocks, pebble coves and pine trees. The nearest beach lies in this direction too, about a 10-minute walk from the villa.
Istrian stone
White limestone and clear water. It’s worth packing water shoes.
Above the rooftops
Red tiles, narrow lanes and, in between, the basilica’s bell tower. This is what the peninsula looks like from above.

There were fourteen of us, 7 children and 7 adults. We had a really good time. The location is good. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well equipped. You can barbecue in the courtyard, and there is a large table with lots of chairs. The owner is very kind, friendly and very helpful. We would like to come back next year. The beds were so comfortable, real comfort.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean and spacious, and the courtyard smelled of lavender. You can barbecue at the back of the courtyard and sit outside on the terraces. The area is quiet; we really loved being here.

Quiet, clean, well equipped. The shop is a few steps away, and it is a pleasant walk to the sea. We always come here. The fig tree in the garden bears delicious fruit. The host is an obliging gentleman who speaks several languages.

Yes. Each apartment has a free private parking space in the enclosed courtyard.
How far is it to the beach and the old town?
The nearest beach is roughly a 10-minute walk away, the old town of Poreč 15 to 20 minutes on foot.
Which apartment suits four guests?
Dina and Matea each have 50 m² and room for up to four guests: Dina with a private terrace and its own entrance, Matea with two balconies and access to the garden. Veronika has 40 m² for up to three guests, but two bathrooms.
Can more than four of us stay?
Just enquire about two apartments at once, for example Dina and Matea. You can choose more than one apartment in the enquiry form.
What facilities do the apartments have?
Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and free high-speed Wi-Fi. There’s a barbecue in the garden that all guests can use.
How does booking work?
You send a no-obligation enquiry with your travel dates. Zlatko gets back to you within a day with availability and the price, and sorts out everything else directly with you.
How much is a night, and are there any extra costs?
The price is per night for the whole apartment and depends on your travel dates; each apartment shows its “from” price. As soon as you pick your dates in the enquiry, the exact price appears. It is a final price: all local charges are already included, nothing is added.
